Taylor and I have now been married just over two months. And this tuesday, we adopted 102 boys. I figured my first act as the mom of Pearce would be to bake over 300 cookies (with some cookie dough from Costco) for their first night. Chocolate Chip Cookies and 8 gallons of milk is a good way win them over.
By the way, boys smell...especially 102 of them. Thankfully we are allowed to have candles in our apartment.

Hurray....more connections with your life in PA. These look like awesome people. I wish I had some great words of wisdom on the "stinky boys" experience, but all I can say is that it is sometimes easier to throw things away than try and get the smell out of them....socks especially. If I was a mom who had just left her son there for his freshman year, I would feel very comforted to know that he is in such loving hands....that was A LOT of cookies. Grandma Sprague would be very proud. That was her kind of batch of cookies.
You guys are so loved and missed that everyone will feel a lot better now that we can see a bit more about your life. Keep them coming.
Love you,
i'm impressed with your cookie-baking adventure. did you learn how to bake like that from Jody?
I was wondering the same thing but I noticed they weren't monster cookies. Food- A sure way to their hearts. Smart going on the Costco dough!
Hey guys, lol it looks like you guys are really enjoying it out there, i love all the pictures! I miss you guys a lot, I leave in just like 2 days and I am really nervous. But we shall see how everything goes. I will talk to you guys later, good luck with all those boys. lol
OK, seriously, cannot believe people are ripping on me on my sister's blog. I bake from SCRATCH--no Cosco dough for me!!!! Actually, I am quite impressed. Can you come visit for Thanksgiving? :-)
