Homecoming

The first of the updates! Saturday, Oct. 4th was Geneva's homecoming. They do a pretty good job of creating an exciting environment for current students and alumni alike and it's always fun to see the campus so alive. From Chik-fil-a to petting zoos, topped off with a good ol' football game, we had a lot of fun. You can click on any of the pictures to enlarge them.
In case you haven't figured out the previous post, the college newspaper asked me to help them raise some cash by volunteering myself in the dunk tank. So I went down to our local Salvation Army, picked up a $5 suit, and heckled anyone walking by. I had the 11am-noon shift and the sun was still snuggled in a blanket of clouds. It was a little chilly...actually warmer in the water than out of it. But as firsts go, I had a good time with it. I'm not really angry...just shaking the water off. That's my "shaking the water off" face. That's Sarah Kirksey. She is such a cute mom and we REALLY love that family.
Isn't she adorable?
A little underwater high five from Toby!
Now that's what I call a wet suite...
Thank you, Thank you, I'll be here all week! They had different musical acts playing all day. One such band, Call of the Mild, has a few of our favorite students in it. they are pretty talented (even though you can't tell by their myspace. I got to take some "band shots" of them which we'll post later.
This was Campbell's 1st football game! She was totally into it. It got a little chilly though and she headed home soon into the first quarter.
New RD introduction time: (top) The pointer is just Brian Jensen...Toby's dad. He's been here for while. But see that Asian guy in the corner...that's Scott Hwang...he is the new Young North RD
(below) This is Lyndsey and Andy Grimm. She is the new RD in Arms Women. We continue to get blessed with quality RDs.

Who Can Guess...

...what is going on in this picture?

Lots of Life

So there has been quite a bit of life happening; even since our last post. We have numerous pictures to share with you all (homecoming, some photo shoots, Sarah's visit, etc.) and a few more stories to tell. Unfortunately, our internet still doesn't like to let us post pictures which doesn't encourage an enjoyable posting experience. However, one day soon, we promise to go to Starbucks (I know...the torture!) and sit down and just blog away. It may not be tomorrow, it may not be till next weekend, but there will be an update! Oh yes....it will happen!

Here are some pictures from the rest of our time in Chicago. We just enjoyed wondering around, taking pictures, and being together.

The difference...

...between edited and unedited. I have much to learn to accomplish little editing. That's why I have a Mac;)
