My Bones Are Cold!
That's how long it's been in the 20s and 30s. Our core body temperature has dropped about 10 degrees. We are ready for spring! I am ready for shorts and sandals. Where is global warming when you need it? The winter has blessed us with some beautiful scenery though. Like this...

Beautiful Criminal
Taylor and I took a lovely Sunday drive to West Virgina. We had the privilege of hearing Nate and his band play at a church, meet his new band members, and see where they are recording. We loved it! We miss being able to see Jess, Nate and Gavin on a more frequent basis. As always we were blessed by Nate's music, even though we only got to see him perform one song. Nate, we love ya!

Breaking My Record
It has been six years since I lost a basketball game. My last season in high school my team went undefeated and I have not played again till now, so I had a pretty good record going. Unfortunately, that all ended last night:( We lost our intramural game last night. But I am proud of my team, we fought hard! I am trying to find a way to play basketball year round, it seems to be the only way I will exercise:)

The Escape to Cleveland
A little more than a week ago, Joanna and I had the opportunity to get away for the evening and just hang out together. It was much needed especially now knowing how the week following it went. Joanna had found out that the Cleveland Cavaliers (the closest NBA team to us) were playing the Phoenix Suns on Friday night. I am a huge Suns fan, so when she told me about it, I was pretty excited. My dad generously purchased a couple of tickets for the big game...the seats were AMAZING! So after wolfing down a delicious meal at a local Irish Pub, we headed to the game and settled in for a hard fought battle. In the end, the Suns won by two points as Shawn Marion hit a jumper with two seconds left. INCREDIBLE! We spent the night in Cleveland in a pretty nice hotel and felt spoiled and refreshed. Here's a few pictures from the game!
